Featured Player of the Week

After making his second TV appearance of the year and bowling great the last two weeks I can comfortably say that I think Brad is back to form. It can be a challenge for Brad to not get caught up in his surroundings. He is so conscious and aware of everything around him. It is to his best interest that he learns to turn that side of him off when he is on the lanes. His passionate personality is a special personality trait as he cares about so much. Most of the time is very good and focusing when it is time to step on the approach. If you see Brad making choices that don't make sense it is usually the result of being caught up in another thought process. Brad's greatest attribute his is ability to read and react to his ball reaction. When Brad is at the top of his game is totally unaware of his surroundings. He can look right at you and not even see you. I know through the years that we can be looking straight at each other when he is on the lanes and sometimes he doesn't even see me. When he is in this mode his intensity is at a peak and his confidence goes with it. Getting in this state of mind is an important aspect of Brad's game. With a TV environment it even becomes more important as Brad like most bowlers wants to present himself in professional manner. It will be interesting to see Brad's development in this area because when Brad is in his focused and intense mode things can happen that may not be friendly. So if you see Brad not being so friendly on the lanes don't confuse that for his personality off the lanes, just give him a little space to switch gears. This weeks show has potential of being a very intense show with personalities very similar to Brad's with none of them willing to back down we may be in for more than we bargained for.
