This was a great match that was determined by carry and transition. Tim's carry in game six was much better than Brad's. Tim was able to stay left of Brad and get it back from further right.

Games 3 and 4 were the determining games in this match. Tom who was suffering a leg injury. opened in the ninth and tenth of game three to lose. In game 4 in open in the 10th to lose. So you can see he will have to deal with more than just the injury to get through this week. It will be a tough loss for Tom but maybe his leg needed the time off and Tom wouldn't give it the rest it needed so it took matters it its own hands and forced the late game opens.

Danny lost his look just like a lot of bowlers who bowl against Pete do.

Walter had the better match up. Norm should try some stronger pins in my opinion.

Amleto was over matched against Chris and his look. Amleto does not square up to the lane near as well as Chris

Patrick was very fortunate he bowled Dale in the round of 16 instead of the round of 32. Dale's look was nothing close to what he had in his match up with Mike Edwards. It could have been the oil down lane after the second strip and re-oil or it could have been the way Patrick Healey transitions the pattern.

Mika's loss in this round may have been the result of strategy. Had Mika won the first two games as expected the result would have been dramatically different. Jeff's strength is not on the fresh and we knew he would like what Mika developed at some point in the game but we were confident that Mika could strike with him in the late games. I could have done a better job in preparing Mika as the right ball for Mika to start with in my mind was the Ultimate Inferno. I went and got the ball for Mika at the end of practice but he did not have any practice shots with it. He did use it in game 3 but I didn't expect it to last the whole match and not having it in games 1 and 2 could have made a difference.

Dang it Rick you just didn't take enough time thinking about this match, I had my mind on the practice lanes with other players.
