The Twisted Fury was introduced in Wauwatosa.
At this point none of the pro staff have seen this ball go down the
lane. I am very excited about the core dynamics as I think it will
give me a wider range of layout options. I chose to start everybody
off with layouts with the pin to PAP distances on the strong side of
their favorite distances and secondary pin locations at 55 degrees.
Hole considerations were on an individual basis. I expect to be able
to use pin placements closer to leverage. Higher diff balls force me
to use pin to PAP distances further away from the PAP because it
created too much flare for the bowlers.
The Twisted has a .039 differential with a stronger asymmetrical
differential (.023)

The Twisted Fury proved to be the
right ball for Mika during the second round of
qualifying. It used it the last three games of the late
squad and shot 190 over for those three games.
The Purple Rhino Pro was drilled up to add to his
arsenal in case Mika is forced to play a very dry part
of the lane. Not sure where Mika picked it up but he
brought it to the tournament. He didn't use the ball yet
so I can not report on its reaction characteristics. It
never hurts to have that safe ball when you expect the
lane to be torched. |
