Carolyn Dorin-Ballard
vs
Shannon Pluhowski This one hurt.
Carolyn did not have a good enough look and I knew
it a few frames into the match. The pair they were
suppose to start on did not get oiled. After a delay
and only a few minutes to practice Carolyn got
caught without enough surface on her ball. Shannon
just happened to have more since she was looking for
something different from the round of 8

Kelly Kulick
vs
Tish Johnson Kelly was up 3-1 and
the next two games Tish shot 212/206. You would
never though both of those scores would win in a
scoring environment like this week. Kelly kicked
herself in the butt for a couple things. She said
she missed a single pin to loose one of the games
and missed the move late in the match. |

Carolyn Dorin-Ballard
vs
Wendy Macpherson This would have
been a great headliner for the show but if you knew
what you were looking for Wendy didn't have a long
term chance in my opinion. Her ball
reaction was going to change much more drastically
than Carolyn' and that Dorin girl is good. |

Shannon Pluhowski
vs
Liz Johnson Liz was on a roller
coaster ride as she could not seem to keep her look.
I would never have thunk it on this condition
Shannon was fortunate to be steady enough to win the
games the Liz was down and put an exclamation point
on it in game seven. What did you expect Liz had
just shot 290 in game six that had to be the peak of
the roller coaster ride. |

Tish Johnson
vs
Amy Stolz The difference in this
match is Tish struck more. It went seven games but
Amy never really figured out how to shoot the big
game. When she won it was because Tish looked lost
and if you leave Tish on the lane long enough she
will get it figured out. and She did in game seven.
Tish always did like the lights. |

Joy Esterson
vs
Kelly Kulick A lot closer than it
looks a 4-1. Three of the five games where within a
mark of each other. Kelly never
shot a game under 235 and was able to walk away
saying she picked up a new trick. I
had worked with Kelly during the break between
Rounds 1 and 2 of qualifying And
man when she sees and feels it she can repeat it |
